The unspoiled countryside and small farms surrounding the house makes for a perfect place for walking and the historic town of Volterra can be reached in 25 minutes by taking the woodland path or by a 10 minute drive. Local amenities such as a restaurant, supermarket and petrol station are within easy reach. The beautiful Etruscan city of Volterra has much to offer, from fine churches and museums to good restaurants and shops and is the ideal location for exploring Tuscany - 70 km from Florence, 60 km from Siena and Pisa and an hours drive to the coast.
